Town Take Title in Style
Buntingford confirmed their place as Herts Senior County League Champions by thrashing London Lions 8-1 at The Bury. Town needed just a point to take the title and were never worried by a Lions line up who were always second best. Chris Hardy gave Buntingford the lead after half an hour before goals from Will Turl and Mark Wright put them comfortably ahead at half time. Paul Attfield's team then ran riot after the break Turl making it four, Wright completing a hattrick with Tom Malins and substitute Jan Stephens completing the rout.
