Boyd Boosts Borough
Kidderminster 1 Stevenage Borough 2
A George Boyd strike after 54 minutes gave Stevenage Borough their second straight win. Boyd thumped the ball into the top right corner from 12 yards out to put Borough back into the lead after Iyseden Christie had cancelled out Luke Olivers early effort. Saints Denied By Late Show
Stafford Rangers 2 St Albans 2
St Albans boss Colin Lippiatt was left cursing his luck as his side were robbed of 3 vital away points by a last minute equaliser from Dolapo Olaoye. Saints had deservedly taken the lead after 24 minutes when Elliott Benyon fired home from close range. The lead lasted until the 63rd minute before Guy Madjo headed home Ged Murphy’s cross. St Albans though bounced back with style Lee Clarke burying Matt Hanns pass within 4 minutes. That looked to be the winner until with time running out Olaoye was left unmarked in the are to finish off another Murphy assist.

Ware
’s game at Flackwell Heath was a casualty of the weather. Elsewhere Aveley 1-0 winners at home to Redbridge, Canvey Island who beat Enfield Town 3-1 and Hornchurch who thrashed Witham 7-0 all took advantage to push the Blues down to 7th place in the table.

Spartan South Midlands League
Only Colney Heath and St Margaretsbury survived the weather. The top of the table clash between Leverstock Green and Hertford being an early casualty after a morning downpour left the pitch waterlogged. Colney Heath will have wished they suffered the same fate after a 3-1 home defeat by Harefield United. St Margaretsbury faired little better losing 4-0 at Edgware who moved to the top of the table.

Herts Senior County League
The weather decimated the programme with only 3 matches surviving. Allenburys moved into the top five in Division One after an Andrew Carwright goal gave them their seventh win in eight games 1-0 at home to Sarratt. Phil Davies notched a hattrick as Hertford Heath eased into the next round of the Herts Centenary Trophy thumoing Wormley Rovers 5-1. Standon and Puckeridge’s poor season continued as they went out 2-0 at Sun Postal.

Matchbeat Featured Game
Déjà vu For Draper
Hertford 2 Broxbourne Borough 2
Glen Draper conceded a last minute penalty for the second week running as Hertford dropped two vital points at the Glenridge Stadium. In a highly competitive encounter The Blues threw away a two goal lead as Broxbourne scored twice in the last ten minutes. Hertford couldn’t have got off to a better start with Panios Panayiotou scoring their 50th goal of the season from close range after only four minutes. Dave Greenwood’s team failed to make the most of their early advantage allowing the visitors to have the better of the opening period. With chances occurring at either end it was Hertford who looked to have produced the decisive strike when Ryan Redford volleyed home his twentieth of the campaign after 66 minutes. The visitors to their credit refused to give up the lively Bradley Drysdale chipping onto the bar before Emiel Aiken gave them hope with ten minutes left. That set up a grandstand finish which saw Glen Draper adjudged to have fouled Aiken in the box a minute from time leaving Gazmend Dauti to thump home the penalty for a share of the points.
