Morison Gives Borough a Point
Steve Morison's 17th Conference goal of the season gave borough a point in an entertaining clash with promotion chasing Gravesend. Morison finished off Dale Binns cross to give Stevenage an 18th minute lead. The advantage lasted just 5 minutes before former Borough striker Charlie McDonald fired the home side level. Gravesend's George Purcell came closest to scoring after that hitting a post in the second half.

Saints Go Marching On
St Albans followed up the midweek win at Stevenage Borough with a hard fought victory over Halifax at Clarence Park. Lee Clarke and Leon Archer with his first for the club put Saints into a 2-0 lead before Felix Bastiens pulled Halifax back into the game. A Tom Davis side foot restored the two goal advantage. The home side then had to play out a tense final period as Darryn Stamp scored for the visitors with Dean Cracknell receiving a red card in injury time.
Ryman League Division One North
Its been a mixed week for Ware. Beaten 2-0 at Redbridge last Saturday the Blues crushed Flackwell Heath in midweek before crashing 1-0 at home to Wivenhoe this afternoon. Elsewhere the meeting of the top 2 ended goaless as Hornchurch kept their lead over Harlow at 8 points. Enfield Town stay third despite being held at Waltham Forest.
Spartan South Midlands League Premier
Hertford wrapped up their sixth win in a row beating Langford 5-1. Goals from Pablo Ardiles, Nick Marsh, Lee roberts and a Kevin Cooper double did the trick for Dave Greenwood's team. the Blues though failed to close the gap on leaders Edgware who thrashed Colney Heath 6-0. Welwyn Garden City are up to 6th after a 2-1 win over London Colney at Herns Lane. in Division One Hoddesdon recorded their first win of the new year 3-0 over Bedford United.
Herts Senior County League
Buntingford took pride of place crushing Wormley Rovers 10-0 at The Bury. Will Turl notched a hattrick, Mark Wright and Luke Robins scored twice while Matt Turl, Jan Stephens and Liam Beaumont completed Rovers misery. Hatfield Town have now gone three without a win after being held 2-2 by fast improving Standon & Puckeridge. Gary Coley and Darryn Stewart were on target for Town, Matt Robinson and Ross Collins replying for Standon. Joel Mason, Matt Jackson and Grant MacCaree got the goals as Codicote beat Bedmond 3-1. In Division One Allenburys stay third after a 1-1 draw with Chipperfield. Lemsford's poor form shows no sign of stopping after they crashed to their fourth straight defeat 2-0 at Evergreen. Wodson Park also had a bad day losing 3-0 at St Peters. Little Munden won their first in four crushing Loughton 5-1 Tyler Hatherley and Ian Baker scoring 2 apiece Adam Butler grabbing the other. Sandridge Rovers are through to the next round of the Anagram Records Trophy beating Kent Athletic 3-2 but Knebworth who lost 2-1 at London Lions and Hertford Heath who went down 3-2 at home to Whitewebbs are both out of the Centenary Trophy
