Rockets Beat Rivals To Sign Dynamic Duo
Rye House Rockets fans were given a major boost ahead of tonights A11 challenge against Mildenhall with the news that two of the hottest prospects in British Speedway will be wearing their colours next year. Promoter Len Silver announced that both 16 year old Tai Woffinden and 18 year old Adam Roynon had pledged their future to the Hertfordshire club. Roynon is the reigning Conference League Riders Champion and impressed before breaking an ankle against the Isle of Wight in September. Woffinden who's father Rob rode for the club has had clubs queing up for his signature after an excellent season with Conference League Champions Scunthorpe. On the track the Rockets easily overcame their East Anglian rivals for the 5th time this season winning 62-32 with both Chris Neath and Steve Boxall only beaten once by an opponent.
