Nurse Earns Borough a Point
A Jon Nurse goal after 49 minutes was enough to earn Stevenage Borough a share of the points at Rushden taking their unbeaten run to five games. Borough had gone in front after 20 minutes when Diamonds Wayne Hatswell sliced a clearance into his own net. Hatswell made amends 17 minutes later heading home Paul Watson's cross to level the scores. Chris Hope then put Rushden in front at the break before Nurse came to Borough's rescue coverting Barry Fullers right wing cross.
