Rye House Rockets will take a slender 6 point lead to the Norfolk Arena on Wednesday night for the 2nd leg of the Play Off Semi Final. On a night full of incident in Hoddesdon the Rockets were left to rue some bad luck which prevented them gaining a more significant advantage. Steve Boxall suffered a problem with his cut out when leading Heat 5 while skipper Chris Neath ruined an otherwise unbeaten night when he ploughed through the tapes at the start of Heat 13. reserve John Oliver proved the Stars hero returning paid 11 on his best ever performance at Rye House. the Rockets though with Neath still suffering the after effects of a gstric virus Edward Kennett nursing a damaged shoulder and Tommy Allen riding despite a broken coccyx can still take a great deal of credit from a victory over the Championship favourites. After the meeting Promoter Len Silver confirmed that former British Under 15 Champion Josh Auty would be riding for the Rockets at reserve on Wednesday evening.
