Miller Off As Borough Crash Back To Earth
Aldershot 4 Stevenage Borough 0

If Mark Stimson thought his Stevenage Borough side had turned the corner after Saturday's thrashing of Stafford Rangers he was brought swiftly back to earth at Aldershot's Recreation Ground. Always second best Stevenage were let off the hook in the 32nd minute when Alan Julian saved Mark Barnard's penalty. It was only a brief respite though as Borough conceded two in a minute and had Adam Miller red carded. On loan Watford striker Joel Grant netted first before namesake John Grant made Borough pay for some poor marking before Miller saw red for violent conduct after a foul on Ryan Scott. Things got no better after the break as Louis Soares made it 3-0 before Joel Grant added his second of the game 12 minutes from time.

Sole Goal Sinks Saints
St Albans 0 Woking 1

A Guiseppe Sole goal after 61 minutes was enough to condemn St Albans to defeat at Clarence Park. In truth boss Colin Lippiatt can have few complaints about the result against a Woking side that had the majority of the possession. Saints failed to muster anything meaningful in attack and had keeper Paul Bastock to thank for preventing Craig Mcallister from doubling the advantage in the second half.
