A Marcus Richardson goal 31 minutes in was enough to condemn Stevenage Borough to another defeat. Richardson reacted quickest to finish off Robbie Simpson's cross increasing the pressure on Stevenage boss Mark Stimson. Steve Morison and Chris Sullivan both had chances for Borough either side of half time but despite an equal share of the possesion Borough couldn't prevent Cambridge United taking all three points.

Hertford are down to 4th in the table after crashing 5-3 at home to Aylesbury Vale. Scott Neilson Ryan Redford and Leo Turner on target for the Blues. London Colney moved into 6th after a 3-1 victory over Biggleswade United while goals from Anthony Beamish and Harry Hunt helped Welwyn Garden City to a win by the same score at Haringey Borough. St Margaretsbury continue to struggle Ian Harte's team going down 3-1 at home to Langford Matt Maskell with the goal. Colney Heath's search for their first win goes on after they drew 1-1 with Royston thanks to Martin Standen's third goal of the season. in Division One a Peter Ulatowski goal couldn't stop Hoddesdon going down 2-1 to league leaders Brimsdown in their first game of the season at Lowfield.

Buntingford kept up their unbeaten record and moved to second place in the Premier Division table after coming from behind against Hatfield Town at The Bury. Paul Attfield's side were left to reflect on early missed chances for Mark Smith and Chris Hardy when Dave Hewing put Hatfield in front 7 minutes before half time. Daryl Smith providing the cross and Hewing doing the rest from close range. A stunning volley from the edge of the box by Jan Stephens pulled Buntingford level after 75 minutes before substitute Will Turl converted Tommy Malins left wing cross with 2 minutes left to secure the three points.

Elsewhere Phil Davies and Matt Chappell were amongst the scorers as Hertford Heath beat Elliott Star 4-1 to go third. No joy for Codicote beaten 3-0 at home to Bushey Rangers. Kebworth are still looking for their first win after a 4-1 defeat at Wormley. Frazer Triggs with the goal. Standon & Puckeridge also had an afternoon to forget beaten 5-0 at Station Road by Met Police Bushey. Lemsford stay top of Division One despite a 2-1 defeat at Allenburys. Neil Draper on target for the visitors Richard Atkinson and Graham Learner giving the home side the points. steve Couglan notched a hattrick as Wodson Park moved into third thrashing Old Parmiterians 5-2. A David Nicolas strike gave Little Munden a point against St Peters.
