Smethills In As Brady Departs
Rye House Rockets have signed 24 year old former Berwick Bandit Lee Smethills until the end of the season after it was revealed that Ross Brady had been advised not to ride again this year. Brady sustained concussion in the recent Premier Trophy defeat by Sheffield and has struggled with headaches ever since. The Edinburgh based rider found it difficult to settle in Hoddesdon after joining the Rockets as a replacement for injured skipper Stuart Robson. Smethills who was surplus to requirements at Berwick is expected to make his league debut at Mildenhall on Sunday.
