Alzapeidi Secures Championship Squad
Ware boss Glen Alzapiedi has retained all of the squad that lifted the Ryman League Two championship. The team will have a familiar look as it faces a new challenge in Ryman League One North. Jon Frendo, Joe Stephens and Chris Ellerbeck who played a major role in the Blues success last year have committed their immediate future to Wodson Park. Alzapiedi believes the team can challenge for honours at the higher level and is delighted at the players loyalty. "I have faith in their ability to gel as a side and we are capable of succeeding at the Step 4 level. Everyone is pulling together to achieve their collective aim of progression within the non-League Pyramid" The squad has worked hard on fitness levels during the summer recess and begins the new league season against Tilbury on August 19th.
