Superblues Get Home Opener
Hertford rugby team will start with a home match when the new National League Three South season gets underway on 2nd September. Old Patesians are the first visitors to Hoe Lane and Superblues coach Graeme Walters will be confident of a first day win after doing the double over OPs last year; both teams finished in the bottom 4 and Hertford are hoping for an improved showing in their 3rd season in National rugby. The first away trip is to newly promoted Chinnor who move up from South West One. Canterbury who dumped Hertford out of the Powergen Cup last year and Clifton are the other new boys. The squad has been training throughout July and starts Saturday training in August ahead of 2 preseason friendlies, both at home
