Rockets Pass Tigers Test
Rye House Rockets responded in style as the biggest threat to their home record was repelled. Glasgow Tigers arrived at Hoddesdon expecting the league´s top two riders, Danny Bird and Shane Parker, to seal victory. Ross Brady´s fall at the first corner gave home fans the jitters but Rockets No 1 Edward Kennett outmanoevred Bird to give Rockets the first heat. New boy Adam Roynon extended the lead partnering Raider Danny Betson and Steve Boxall´s all round display including a personal best saw Rockets to the win. An unexpected bonus point remained on the cards until Kennett´s late engine failure
