Rockets Get Northern Tour Off To a Flyer

The Rye House Rockets started their northern tour in fine style with a win in tricky conditions at Armadale. Forced to track Glasgow's Danny Bird as a guest for the absent Edward Kennett the former Reading man top scored with 14+1 more than justifying his selection. Bird received great support from skipper Chris Neath and Steve Boxall making his first appearance in the body of the team. With conditions always tricky Edinburgh were left to count the cost of Rusty Harrisons refusal to come out in Heat 12 allowing the Rockets to take the lead.
