It was a night of double defeat for Rye House as the Premier League Rockets went down to Berwick while the Conference League Raiders lost their unbeaten home record to Plymouth in a dramatic last heat decider. Once again guest Danny Bird was the hero for the Rockets he returned an excellent 18 point maximum as they secured what could be a vital bonus point. At Hoddesdon the Raiders will be kicking themselves that they let the Devils off the hook thanks to falls and machinery problems. Plymouth were behind until the final heat when the experienced Seemond Stephens proved too quick for Ben Powell with the visitors Tom Brown grabbing the all important point in front of Harland Cook.
