Captain Oliver Leads Stevenage Comeback

Stevenage came from behind for the second time in their pre season programme to register another confidence boosting win at Farnborough. Luke Oliver, who arrived at Broadhall Way shortly after new boss Mark Stimson, played his first match as captain with Jason Goodliffe now appointed club captain. Stevenage conceded on 13 minutes when former Welywn Garden City striker Bradley Garness headed in a Ty Smith corner. Parity came 20 minutes later when a handball in the box led to Adam Miller slotting home the penalty. And Jon Nurse wrapped up the win at the second attempt when after hitting the post from 3 yards he stabbed home the rebound on 75 minutes
