Binns Sidelined for Month
Stevenage Borough boss Mark Stimson received mixed news from the medical team with less than a fortnight to go before the Conference season begins. Dale Binns knee injury sustained at Boreham Wood is worse than first thought and he undergoes an exploratory operation this week. The pacy winger had impressed in Boroughs early warm up games and is unlikely to be available until September. Better news on the other casualties with striker Darryn Stamp and keeper Alan Julian back in training. Both players could feature in the line up as Stevenage continue their pre-season programme at Southern League Premier Bedford.
