Stimson Appointed as Borough Boss

Mark Stimson has been appointed Stevenage Borough´s new manager. The former Grays Athletic boss replaces Graham Westley who leaves after 3 years in charge at Broadhall Way. Stimson has a record second to none in non league football having masterminded Grays rise through the Conference ranks to a play off position last season and 2 FA Trophy successes
Borough chairman Phil Wallace confirmed Stimson was top of his target list. "When we heard Mark was available there was never going to be anyone else as our first choice and we were determined as a Board to do whatever was necessary to persuade him to join us."
Stimson spent 4 years at the Recreation Ground building a reputation for getting players to maximise their ability. Wallace persuaded Stimson to choose Borough over several Football League clubs and believes he can achieve the promotion thats been elusive in recent seasons playing the football that Borough fans want to see
Stimson has signed a 3 year contract starting on June 1st and has already identified a group of players he wants to bring to Broadhall Way
Fans will get a chance to meet the new boss at a Meet the Fans evening later in June
