Rockets Easily Repel Bandits
Rye House Rockets overcame showery conditions to send the Berwick Bandits packing in a curtailed Bank Holiday programme at Hoddesdon
Luke Bowen and Steve Boxall both registered 13 points as Rockets failed to lose a single heat. After Tommy Allen and Ross Brady had opened the meeting with a 4-2 win, Bowen and Boxall set the tone for the afternoon´s action with a 5-1 romp in the next, which the Rockets then repeated 7 times. Berwick were 18-6 down before sharing the 5th heat but never threatened after then with Edward Kennett, Tommy Allen and Chris Neath driving home the advantage to secure Rockets 2nd league win
The uncertain weather caused Raiders Conference League clash with Boston to be postponed
