Brilliant Boxall Keeps Rockets Afloat

20 Points from Steve Boxall kept the Rockets on course for a place in the second round of the Knock Out Cup. it was a dramatic evening on the Island with a succesion of machinery problems leaving the Rockets trailing by 14 points after only six heats. A tactical maximum from Boxall and Jamie Courtney in Heat 8 pulled the defecit back to just six. Courtney though ended in hospital after he was accidently caught by Jason Doyle. Already missing the injured Ross Brady the Rockets dug deep through the final 7 heats and will now fancy their chances of progressing after Saturday's second leg.
