Bowen The Key As Rockets Tame Fen Tigers
Rye House Rockets 53 Mildenhall Fen Tigers 40
Harlow resident Luke Bowen was the hero as the Rockets secured their third home win of the season over rivals Mildenhall. Bowen top scored with 11 including a memorable victory over Jason Lyons in Heat 11. It was a solid all round team performance from the Rockets with Steve Boxall proving his fitness by contributing 8+3 from his 4 rides. Boxall earned the biggest cheer of the night for his daring swoop round Shaun Tacey and Barry Burchatt to back up Edward Kennett in Heat 12. The only dampner on a dramatic night which saw a water bowser burst and a temporary power loss was the Heat 13 crash which saw Ross Brady removed from the track in an ambulance. its feared the scotsman has sustained ligament damage to his ankle and the Rockets will wait on his fitness ahead of Tuesday's visit to the Isle of Wight in the KO Cup.

Jamie Courtney 7+1 (4)
Edward Kennett 9+1 (4)
Tommy Allen 5+2 (4)
Chris Neath 8+2 (5)
Luke Bowen 11 (5)
Steve Boxall 8+3 (4)
