Rain Can't Dampen Rockets Win
Rye House Rockens 52 Isle of Wight 20
A 12th Heat downpour gave referee Barbara Horley no option but to abandon proceedings at a sogging Rye House the end coming as some respite for a well beaten Isle of Wight outfit. Despite operating rider replacement for the injured Stuart Robson the Rockets were always too strong for their opponents. Edward Kennett and Chris Neath were both unbeaten while Steve Boxall turned in another strong performance at reserve. Only the all action Chris Holder offered much resistance for the Islanders.
