Ryman League Division Two
Ware are just one win away from taking the title after a 6-0 win at Clapton. Brook Houses surprise 2-1 defeat at home to Edgware means if Ware beat Hertford in the East Herts Derby on Tuesday evening they will be crowned league champions. hertford will no doubt revel in the opportunity of spoiling their neighbours party. Gary Connor's team though go into Tuesday's game off the back of their 6th home defat of the season 2-0 against Witham. the Blues need 6 points from their remaining 4 games to avoid the wooden spoon.
Spartan South Midlands League
St Margaretsbury turned in the performance of the day thrashing Harpenden 7-1 at the Recreation Ground. Planty of goals at Herns Lane as well with Welwyn Garden City and Hanwell Town sharing six between them. No joy for London Colney though they are still not mathmatically safe following a 2-1 defeat by Holmer Green at Cotlandswick. In Division One Hoddesdon's unbeaten run went to five games after a 1-1 draw with promoted Brache Sparta.
Herts Senior County League
Hatfield Town need one more win to secure the runners up spot in the Premier Division after thrashing London Lions 8-1. Codicote were also in the goals beating Hinton 5-3 while Buntingford went down to their second consecutive defeat 2-1 at Wormley who still have a chance of avaoiding the drop. In Division One Hertford Heath completed their league campaign with a 4-4 draw at Lemsford.
