Football Roundup

Nationwide Conference
Stevenage Borough drew a blank at Kidderminster despite the home side having defender Daryl Burgess dismissed in the second half of a largely uneventful game. Luke Oliver's header tipped over by Kidderminster keeper Daniel Lewis was Borough's best chance to grab all three points. Stevenage stay fourth in the table but are now just 2 points ahead of Grays who have 3 games in hand.

Stevenage: Julian, Warner, Oliver, Goodliffe, Gregory, Henry, Miller, Maamria, Boyd, Stamp (Louis 76), Nurse.
Subs Not Used: Gore, Quinn, Weatherstone, Duffy.

Ryman League Division Two
Things get better and better for Ware at the top of the table. A 5-2 win over Croydon in front of a bumper crowd of 262 at wodson Park took the Blues 10 points clear of nearest challengers Brook House who were beaten for the second straight game going down 1-0 at Witham. At the other end of the table Hertford suffered their 12th defeat of a disappointing season 1-0 at Wembley.

Spartan South Midlands League
St Margaretsbury failed to build on their midweek win at leaders Oxford City Saints losing 2-0 at Aylesbury Vale. London Colney are still looking nervously over their shoulders towards the relegation zone following a 1-1 draw against Harefield at Cotlandswick. The Blueboys have won just one of their last 9. In Division One Hoddesdon bounced back from their midweek cup disappointment recording their first win in seven 2-1 at Dunstable 98.

Herts Senior County League
There will be no double cup glory for Codicote as Buntingford booked themselves a place in the Aubrey Cup Final thanks to a 2-1 win at The Bury. All the goals came in the first half Grant Macaree heading the Villagers in front before Town hit back through Dean Chaffey and John Bitting. With Buntingford in cup action Hatfield Town moved clear in second place thanks to a 3-2 win at Met Police Bushey. In Division One Lemsford returned to form beating Bovingdon 2-1 while Allenburys slumped to their fifth straight defeat 2-1 at home to St Peters.
