Rockets Prepare for Blast Off
The 2006 Rye House Rockets took to the track for the first time on Friday afternoon at the clubs Press and Practive Day. All seven Rockets took in some practice laps on the Hoddesdon circuit in front of a crowd of interested fans. Skipper Stuart Robson reported no ill effects from his first full practice session since the shoulder injury which ended his season in early October while both new additions Luke Bowen and Jamie Courtney looked sharp. The Rockets face their first competitive action this Sunday (3:30pm) when the visit old rivals Mildenhall in the First Leg of the Herts/Suffolk Trophy.
