Rockets Ambushed By Rebels

The Rockets defence of speedways Premier Trophy got off to a disapointing start with a 15 point defeat at the Oak Tree Arena. The home side led from the off securing advantages in the opening two heats. Stuart Robson and Chris Neath tried to keep rye House in contention but didn't receive the support their efforts deserved. Magnus Zetterstrom was the Rebels hero with a 5 ride paid maximum. The Rockets now face a stiff task if they are to gain the bonus point when the teams meet again in Hoddesdon on Saturday night.
