Maximum Man Kennett Boosts Rockets

A 15 point maximum by Edward Kennett ensured Rye House took their first bonus point of the season in the Premier Trophy. The British Under 21 Champion completed his unbeaten night in the most dramatic fashion squeezing in front of Rebels Jamie Smith right on the line in the final heat. Without Paul Fry the Rebels were hampered by the loss of Pavel Ondrasik to injury after a Heat 3 spill that though should take nothing away from a determined display by the Rockets. All seven team members recorded a heat win including a first of the season for Jamie Courtney and the memorable scalp of Rebels number one Magnus Zetterstrom for Luke Bowen. The win means the Rockets will go into next weeks league opener against Sheffield full of confidence.
