Ryman League Division Two
Hertford did neighbours Ware a favour by holding high flying Flackwell to a 1-1 draw at Hertingfordbury Park. The point takes Gary Connor's team 5 points off the bottom of the table. Ware who play Chertsey on Tuesday night had their lead at the top cut to 5 pts after Brook House beat Croydon 2-0.

Spartan South Midlands League
Welwyn Garden City have now scored only 4 goals in their last 7 games after being held to a 1-1 draw at Tring Athletic. Elsewhere it was a poor day for London Colney and St Margaretsbury who both lost out by the odd goal in five. The Blueboys were beaten at high flying Aylesbury Vale, Saints going down to Hanwell Town. in Division One Hoddesdon had an afternoon to forget thumped 4-0 at Colney Heath.

Herts Senior County League
There's still no stopping Buntingford as Paul Attfield's team recorded their seventh straight win to move into second place in the Premier table. Town beat Hinton 3-2 with goals from Gary Christie, Luke Robins and Gary Christie. Hatfield Town drop to third and had Neil Doctor to thank for the goal that salvaged a point in the 1-1 draw at Sandridge Rovers. Codicote's return to league action after a month was an unhappy one going down 5-3 at Wormley Rovers. Little Munden won the relegation clash at Elliott Star 3-2 with James Raynham and Darren Shanley amongst the scorers.
In Division One leaders Standon & Puckeridge opened up a 3 point gap at the top thanks to a 2-1 win at third placed Bovingdon a goal from Adrian Miles and an own goal doing the trick. Knebworth recorded the performance of the day moving into third place after beating Hertford Heath 4-0. Fraser Trigg's scored his fourth goal in three games as Heath went down to only their second defeat of the season.
