Nationwide Conference

Stevenage Borough let a two goal lead slip as they were held 2-2 at Dagenham and Redbridge. Jon Nurse fired Graham Westley's team in front in the opening minute latching on to Adam Miller's pass. Dino Maamria doubled the advantage from the penalty spot 5 minues later. In a frantic opening period the home side hit back through Tim Cole before Sam Saunders levelled the scores with only 17 minutes on the clock. Neither side could find the opportunity to grab all three points after that Saunders coming closest hitting the Stevenage bar after half time. Borough drop down to 5th in the Conference table.

Ryman League Division Two

Leaders Ware took their unbeaten run to 11 games after beating Chalfont 3-0 at Wodson Park. Inspired by the return to the club of striker John Frendo the Blues survived some early scares before taking the lead courtesy of Danny Spendlove's 22nd minute header. Frendo set up number two when he was tripped from behind by John Carroll after 31 minutes referee Mark Spradbury pointing to the spot and after consultation with an assistant reducing the visitors to 10 men. Joe Stevens took his goal tally to 16 by confidently dispatching the penalty. The result was never in doubt after that substitue Chris Ellerbeck rounding proceedings off beating keeper Doug McKechnie with the last kick of the match. Ware's lead at the top of the table is now up to 5 points after Flackwell's surprising 7-1 thrashing at the hands of Brook House. At the other end of the table Hertford's struggles go on a 3-0 defeat at Chertsey means they have won just one of their last ten.

Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division

Welwyn Garden City continue to frustrate in the league after going down 2-1 at home to St Margaretsbury the defeat was the Citizens fourth in five games. Saints are now unbeaten in three.

Herts Senior County League

There's no doubting Buntingford's position as the Premier Division's form horses. Paul Attfield's side completed the double over leaders Whitewebbs thanks to a Robbie Wilmott goal. Town are up to third having won their last five. Hatfield Town took advantage of Bedmond's draw with Hinton to move into second place. A brace from Lewis Field and a Dan Stewart strike enough to beat Elliott Star 3-1. No joy for Little Munden who are now just one place off the bottom after a 5-0 home defeat by Sandridge Rovers.
Standon & Puckeridge are now just one point clear at the top of Division One after they were beaten 3-1 at St Peters. Second placed Hertford Heath made no mistake thumping Croxley Guild 5-1 Phil Davies hitting two. Knebworth returned to winning form after last weeks shock defeat at Sarratt. The prolific Jason Drackford scored twice as they won 6-2 at Allenburys. Codicote are safely through to the Aubrey Cup Semi Finals. Jim Bundy's team beating Sarratt 3-0 while there was also a win for Lemsford in the Presidents Cup 3-1 at Loughton.
