Stevenage Slump Continues
A miserable week for Borough ended with defeat at Tamworth. Defender Luke Oliver made his Stevenage debut 24 hours after signing from Yeovil and saw little action in a forgettable first half as both sides failed to create an opening. Michael Warner and Rob Quinn were boss Graham Westley´s other changes from the team that drew with Woking
For the second time in eight days Borough failed to impose themselves on a team threatened with relegation and belying their lowly position the Lambs struck twice in the second period to seal the points. Carl Heggs opened the scoring from a corner in the 62nd minute. The coup de grace was applied by Matt Williams with a scorching 30 yard drive 11 minutes later
The 2-0 defeat leaves Borough in 7th place with work to do ahead of the visit of Aldershot on Saturday
