Herts Senior County League Roundup
Plenty of drama in the Aubrey Cup Quarter Final as Hatfield Town and Buntingford finished level at 2-2 after 90 minutes. Buntingford finally progressing 5-3 on penalties. Kebworth and Hertford Heath are safely through to the Semi Finals of the Herts Intermediate Cup. Danny Bishop, Phil Davies and Danny Perry got the goals in Heath's 3-1 win over Bovingdon. An Adrian Turner hatrick along with Jason Drackford's 21st goal of the season set up Knebworth's 4-0 win at Sarratt. In the Premier Division with the top 3 all involved in cup action Codicote missed their chance to go second when they lost 4-2 at home to Elliott Star Shaun O'connell notching a hattrick for the visitors. In Division One Standon & Puckeridge closed the gap on leaders Hertford Heath to just 2 points with a 3-2 win at Buckhurst Hill, Collins, Dogan and Nelson got the goals. Lemsford's poor run continued they've now just won one of their last six after going down 2-0 to St Peters while Allenburys were beaten 3-2 at Loughton.
