Herts Senior County League Roundup

Plenty of goals in the Premier Division with Hatfield Town and Codicote scoring 4. Codicote are now just 3 points behind second placed Bedmond after their 4-2 win. The 5th in 6 games for Jim Bundys team. Louis Field was Towns hero hitting a hattrick in the 4-3 win over Hinton they stay third. No joy for Buntingford who went down 4-1 at Met Police Bushey. At the top Whitewebbs are still 16 points clear after a 3-1 victory over London Lions. In Division One leaders Hertford Heath started the new year with a comfortable 3-1 win over Old Parmitarians, former Ware and Hertford midfielder Danny Bishop on the the scoresheet. Standon & Puckeridge have now gone 4 games without a win after a 1-1 draw at Allenburys. Knebworth are 4th after a Fraser Triggs goal took their unbeaten run to 8 games with the 1-1 draw at home to Loughton. Goals from Draper, Drummond and Summers secured Lemsford's first win in 5 games 3-0 at struggling Cuffley.
