Rockets Take Title
The Rye House Rockets are the new Speedway Premier League Champions. the title was confirmed when second placed Berwick went down by 48-41 at Sheffield leaving Rye House on top of the table with a meeting to spare. Its the first time that the Rockets have won the Championship in 25 years. They will have little time to celebrate though as they host the Isle of Wight in the first leg of the Young Shield on Friday (7:30) followed by the second leg of the Knock Out Cup Semi final against Reading (7:00) the following night.
