Cents Through to Final Playoff

Rugby Roundup

Another weekend of success for Matchbeat teams. As the rugby league season builds to a climax St Albans Centurions proved their place among National League Threes elite by beating Warrington Wizards comfortably at Woollams.
Kristian Warner had an outstanding game at full back while recent acquisitions Nick Surtees and Farren Mahoney scored two tries apiece
Cents now play Bradford Dudley Hill Demons next Saturday October 1st to decide Bramley's opponents in the Grand Final.

In the weekend's union matches Hertford secured a hat-trick of league victories with a narrow win against new boys Bracknell.
The result was a repeat of last Saturdays win at Bridgwater and leaves the Blues in 2nd place alongside joint unbeaten clubs North Walsham and Cambridge

Old Albanians enjoyed their first win of the Powergen London One season at the expense of Herts rivals Tabard.

Letchworth are up and running in London Two North beating Norwich but St Albans remain without a point after failing to trouble the scorers at Thurrock

Newly promoted Stevenage got their season going in London Three North West with victory at Fullerians but Welwyn lost in a low scoring game at Tring

And Datchworth showed last years run was no flash in the pan winning their first away game in London Four North West at Hammersmith & Fulham.
