Munt´s Double Chance in World Championships
Ware´s Natalie Munt is among the British squad competing in this weeks World Badminton Championships in Los Angeles. After arriving late due to the strike at Heathrow the world number one doubles pair Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms had to withdraw due to Robertsons ankle sprain. Munt now represents Britains best chance in the mixed alongside Robert Blair and partners Tracey Hallam in the womens doubles.
Hertfordshire pair and 16th seeds Liza Parker and Suzanne Rayappan have won their first round match against Scotland´s Imogen Bankier and Emma Mason 15-12 15-11.
