Monday´s Speedway Result
Premier League
Reading Racers 44 Rye House Rockets 46 (agg 80-101)
A tremendous away double in 2 days. Considering Rockets had only 6 of the 15 race wins the result was a remarkable achievement as the Hoddesdon team had only 5 last places. Trailing early Daniel King fell while third as Brent Werner took heat 3, then Stuart Robson and Edward Kennett dragged their team back into contention with a 5-1 in heat 5.
Racers were ahead by 6 after heat 10, but with Tommy Allen partnering Werner and King to claim heats 12 and 14, the Rockets had their noses in front and although Matej Zagar took the final race, Zdenek Simotas exclusion following a fall ensured a hard fought victory
Rockets collect a bonus point and climb into 2nd place behind Berwick who visit Hoddesdon on Friday evening
Rockets Scorers
Stuart Robson 7+2
Edward Kennett 5+2
Brent Werner 10
Daniel King 3+1
Chris Neath 11+1
Steve Boxall 1
Tommy Allen 9+2
