First Blood To Rockets But Only Just
Rye House Rockets 48 Glasgow Tigers 42
Rye House Rockets will take a narrow 6 point advantage into the second leg of the Knock Out Cup Quarter Final when they travel to Glasgow on Sunday week. The Tigers who had won at Stoke and Hull in the last week lived up to their billing as one of the leagues form teams. Mechanical problems and some inconsistent performances played their part as the Rockets struggled to stay in front. Stuart Robson and Edward Kennett led the way with double figures scores while Tommy Allen added a creditable 9 points from reserve.
