Elding Returns to Borough Squad

Borough fans will be relieved to hear that with 11 days to go to the start of the Conference season hot shot Anthony Elding is back in training and will feature in the squad for Tuesdays friendly at St Albans

Elding had a heart to heart with Stevenage boss Graham Westley after missing the clubs trip to Spain and being left out of the team that lost to Peterborough on Saturday. Elding has now pledged his 100% support to the club, his team mates and his manager.

Afterwards Westley spoke to the Borough web site - "Ant is learning all the time which is why he is becoming sought after by several League clubs. Everyone makes errors. If he keeps learning then I believe that he can help us to win this season's Conference Championship. By reconciling his differences with the club, he has shown maturity and he deserves credit for that. Don't be surprised if he scores over 35 goals this year and creates a very big future for himself".
