Rockets Captain Misses Edinburgh Rematch
Silver Ski Rockets expect plenty of needle in this weekends double against Edinburgh Monarchs. The Scots objection to Rye House hosting their Premier Trophy semi final against Sheffield while Edinburgh still had a mathematical but unlikely chance of displacing the Yorkshire team caused a blank weekend at Hoddesdon.
Brent Werner misses Saturdays home leg of the Knockout Cup First Round but will ride tonight at Armadale. Werner has been selected for the USA team involved in World Cup qualification in Latvia.
Rockets can only use the Rider replacement rule to cover his absence which means only Edward Kennett, Daniel King, Steve Boxall and Tommy Allen can take his rides.
