Chris Neath and Stuart Robson's hopes of bringing the trophy to Rye House for the very first time ended when the pair were beaten by Glasgow's George Stancl and Shane Parker in the semi finals. the home pairing went on to lift the trophy beating Somerset's magnus Zetterstrom and Glen Cunnigham in the final. Robson was unbeaten in the heat stages as the Rockets pairing qualified for the last four with 22 points. Home track advantage told for Glasgow in a tense Semi Final with Stancl leading Robson and Neath unable to overall Parker for third place.
