Depleted Rockets Take Shine Off Diamonds

The Rye House Rockets maintained their unbeaten home record with a performance full of character. Missing injury victims Steve Boxall (heavy bruising) and Daniel King (knee) the Rockets were also forced to track reserve Tommy Allen just 3 days after he was concussed in a heavy fall at Hull. Chris Neath, Brent Werner and Stuart Robson kept the Diamonds at bay all recording double figure scores. Robson who put in another spectacular performance set the fastest time of the season so far clocking 56.2 seconds in the opening heat. The teams meet again on Monday evening with the Rockets looking to defend their 14 point lead for the bonus point.
