Rockets Give Tigers a Mauling
Speedway Premier League
Rye House Rockets 61 Sheffield Tigers 32
Rye House Rockets kept their 100% home record with another powerful display around the Hoddesdon circuit. Before this one started the general view was that Sheffield would provide the biggest test of the season so far. In the end though the Tigers had the hard working Andrea Compton to thank for ensuring the scoreline wasn't even more emphatic. The Australian was the only visiting winner as Tommy Allen recorded a paid maxiumum while Edward Kennett and Brent Werner both hit double figures. It was also a memorable night for 17 year-old reserve Harland Cook who scored paid 4 on his Premier League debut.
Rockets Scorers
Stuart Robson 8+2
Edward Kennett 12
Chris Neath 8+2
Tommy Allen 11+1
Brent Werner 11
Harland Cook 3+1
Daniel King 8+1
