Herts Earn Twickenham Date
Hertfordshire recorded its biggest County Championship victory beating Berkshire 68 - 0 at Woolhams on Saturday to book a place in the County Championship Shield Final at Twickenham next Sunday. The victorious county squad will now face North Midlands in a 1.00 pm kick off.
Its the first time that Hertfordshire's Senior side will have appeared at rugby's headquarters and it follows in the footsteps of the County's Colts (U19) XV who appeared in the County Colts Cup final in December 1995. It'll be a big day for SuperBlues Alfie Church who played in the Colts final and should be taking the field for Hertfordshire next Sunday, to become the first player to appear twice at Twickenham in county colours.
