Ganet Quits City For Pastures New

Guillermo Ganet is to quit Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Welwyn Garden City to take over the reigns at Southern League outfit Berkhamstead Town. Ganet who took the Citizens to 3 County Cup Finals in his reign at Herns Lane has been unable to resist the lure of a higher class side closer to his Amersham home. In his time at Welwyn Garden City he brought in players from as far afield as The Ivory Coast and Columbia but failed to push the Citizens into a promotion place despite a promising start. The club will start the search for a new manager immediately.
