Stevenage Qualify for Play offs
Stevenage 2-0 Leigh RMI
Stevenage Borough claimed a place in the Conference play-offs with an easy victory over rock-bottom Leigh RMI.
Anthony Elding opened the scoring with a tremendous 30-yard shot having received the ball from Jon Brady to notch his 21st of the season.
Dino Maamria almost doubled the lead but saw his effort saved by Jon Worsnop and Elding also went close.
But the hosts finally scored again when striker Darryn Stamp tapped in from six yards in stoppage time, having earler hit the woodwork with a header.
Stevenage face Hereford in the two leg semi final the first leg at Broadhall Way on Bank Holiday Monday May 2nd
