Elding & Goodliffe Take It to The Wire

Goals from Anthony Elding and Jason Goodliffe secured a vital win for Stevenage and made sure Borough's play off hunt will go right to the wire. Elding's 20th goal of the season gave Borough a half time lead and when skipper Goodliffe doubled the advantage early in the second half it looked as if Graham Westley's team would win with a ease. A goal from Crawley's Steve Burton 14 minutes from time set up a nail biting finish as results elsewhere took Borough to 6th in the Conference table just a point out of the play offs.
