Allen in Fitness Race
Rye House Rockets second string Tommy Allen is in a race to get fit for this weekends action after having the plaster removed from his damaged ankle on Wednesday. Allen is undergoing intensive physiotherapy in a bid to be included in the side to face Exeter in the Premier Trophy at Rye House on Saturday. The Rockets who head the Premier Trophy south table having won five out of five so far have used the rider replacement rule to cover Allens absence. If he fails to make it in time for Saturday's match its hoped he'll be fit enough to take his place in the final qualifier for the British Under 21 Championship at Scunthorpe on Sunday.
